The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) announces Oman Air as the newest addition to the organization’s Regional Travel Partnership program. The major global airline has played a significant role in making Muscat, Oman a leading traffic hub and supporting commercial, industrial, and tourism activities. Furthermore, Oman Air is now a certified 5-Star Airline for COVID-19 health and safety protocols onboard and at the Muscat International Airport. This special recognition by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX), was granted to less than 10 percent of the world’s airlines.
“In securing this partnership, we are pleased to connect our ICCA members in the Middle East with an airline that will serve them under exceptional standards of health and safety. Meeting face-to-face is vital to our industry and we at ICCA World believe we can begin to do so once again as we continue to adhere to best practices in pandemic safety,” said Senthil Gopinath, ICCA CEO.
The ICCA Travel Partnership is a long-term relationship that aims to help both ICCA and the member achieve business goals and objectives. The partnership also generates strong visibility to both the destination and the member. ICCA only develops such partnerships with organizations that merit a high-level endorsement to our members.
ICCA plans to further expand the Regional Travel Partnership program in 2021 with additional trusted transportation partners. ICCA also has partnership programs, in other sectors including: Association Relations, Corporate, Destination, Industry, Hospitality and Sustainability. Each partnership is targeted to a diverse audience and provides unique benefits.
